A couple I now know was on their honeymoon and purchased a painting from a street artist. They had the painting with them for about two weeks. Unfortunately, they left the painting in a taxi on one of their last days in Italy. Fortunately, the couple had a photograph of the painting. Years later, they told me their story, and I said I could paint it from them. A year or so after that, the husband contacted me in early 2022 and asked if I would paint the image so that he could give it to his wife as a Christmas gift. I agreed, and in early December of 2022, I delivered the painting to them; they love it, and so do I.
